Cecilia Soto de Simón

Cecilia specializes in criminal litigation, defense strategy, and legal representation within the adversarial criminal justice system, with a focus on financial crimes and the defense of women in gender-based crimes. She is currently expanding her expertise through studies in corporate law, which allows her to integrate a corporate and compliance perspective into her criminal practice.

She has experience in the analysis and strategic planning of complex litigation, as well as in the preparation and conduct of oral trials and hearings before various courts.

Recent Experience in Significant Matters

• Comprehensive management of criminal matters before local district attorney's offices and the Federal Attorney General's Office (FGR), from the filing of complaints through the preparation and conduct of oral trial hearings.
• She actively participates in the defense and representation of individuals and companies in financial crime cases.
• She has been involved in the defense of women in cases of gender-based violence within the adversarial criminal justice system.
